Dear Ones,
Here, at Unity San Francisco, we spent much of 2009 discerning who we are and who we have come here to be. We prayerfully explored this through classwork, congregational seminars, and small group brainstorming. We came to a consciousness of consensus, agreeing that we are an evolving, vibrant spiritual community inspiring, supporting, and nurturing each other as we live a conscious life, recognizing the global Oneness we all share.
The word actualization kept coming up in the process. I see it as not only describing a realization (making something actual or real), but also manifesting that realization. Therefore, after much prayer and process:

Now, we carry out this mission through activity and spiritual practice. That’s why I hope you’ll take part in our seven week Book Study and Lesson series, Waking Up Together, based on Eckhart Tolle’s best selling A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose. Class will be held Monday evenings, from 6:30 to 8 pm, January 11 to February 22. I’m excited about the possibilities for new insights, personal growth, and the spiritual understanding this endeavor will spark. Please join me on Mondays as well as at our Sunday celebrations as
we Wake Up Together.
