Death Cafe: Coffee, Cake, and Conversation
With Rev. Eleesabeth Hager
Wednesday, March 27th
7:00 - 9:00 PM
Not only do we not talk about "it," we too easily ignore this stupid (yet deepest fact) of our existence: that it will end. It's not polite conversation... and almost taboo. In practical terms, our own deaths seem so improbable that we live our lives like immortals.
Death Cafes began in Switzerland and have grown into a worldwide movement. It is a place to simply talk about death with fellow human beings over a cup of something and treats.
What it is NOT:
- It is NOT a grief group.
- No theology or any agendas
- No fixing
- No advice
Just talking - because we don't have all the time in the world. How do we use it well, (and age well) if we don't talk about it?
Treats and conversation starters provided.
Join us. You bring the talk... or you can just listen.
